Four Heat Pumps for a building with 25 residential units
In a 25-unit apartment building on Alsterdorfer Straße in Hamburg, four OVUM air-source heat pumps were integrated into the existing heating system. The work included pouring foundations for the outdoor units, earthwork for piping, and core drilling between the indoor and outdoor units. No information is available for this project regarding the previously used heating system or performance data.
4 × OVUM Air-Source Heat Pump
Integrated together into the building's existing heating system.
Foundations & Core Drilling
Structural foundation for the outdoor units and piping.
MIRA+ Controller
Standard system control for OVUM Heat Pumps.

Why Multiple Heat Pumps Can Be a Good Idea for Larger Buildings
In a building with 25 residential units, the heating demand typically exceeds what a single Heat Pump can reasonably handle. In this project, the demand was instead divided among four units, which were collectively integrated into the existing heating system. The specific allocation depends on the structural and technical conditions of the building in question.
Implemented by an OVUM partner company
Foundation work, earthwork, core drilling, and the installation and Commissioning of the four Heat Pumps were all handled through a single point of contact.
