From Gas Heating to the AC208P
Efficient Heating with MIRA+ Control in Vomp

In Vomp, OVUM AC208P with M+ control is replacing the old gas heating system. Gas consumption had previously been around 13,000 kWh per year.
The switch reduces operating costs and CO₂ emissions and provides reliable comfort.

From a Gas Connection to a Heat Pump
In a residential building in Vomp, a gas boiler with an annual consumption of approximately 13,000 kWh had previously met the heating needs. MECO oversaw the project from the planning phase through the removal of the old Plant to the installation of the new Heat Pump. Since the conversion, an OVUM AC208P Heat Pump with MIRA+ Control has been providing heating and hot water.
OVUM AC208P Heat Pump
Completely replaces the existing gas furnace for heating and hot water.
MIRA+ Controller
Controls the Heat Pump to match the residents' heating needs.
Dismantling of the Old Facility
MECO handled the removal of the gas furnace and its proper disposal.

What Will Change as a Result of the Transition
With the elimination of gas consumption, the ongoing dependence on a gas connection is eliminated. Instead, the Heat Pump draws its energy from the ambient air, controlled by the MIRA+ Control. Electricity is required to operate the Plant, and the amount needed depends, among other factors, on the building, the insulation standard, and individual usage patterns.
Incentives for Replacing Heating Systems
In Austria, federal and state subsidies are available for switching from a fossil-fuel heating system to a Heat Pump. The actual amount of the subsidy depends on the specific project and the subsidy programs currently in effect.
Implemented by an OVUM partner company
Planning, removal of the old gas furnace, and installation of the new Heat Pump were all handled by a single point of contact.
