An Evening Like in the Middle Ages

After work, the OVUM team headed up to Kufstein Fortress. The unique setting alone made it clear right away: this was not going to be an ordinary evening together. Amid ancient walls and a medieval atmosphere, a lord-of-the-castle dinner awaited us, taking us back in time for a few hours.

In keeping with the historic setting, of course, the appropriate costumes were a must. And so, without further ado, our colleagues transformed into a medieval gathering—at least for one evening.

The castle lord’s dinner was more than just a simple dinner together. Rustic dishes, historical customs, and the medieval entertainment program provided plenty of fun and some hilarious moments.

Above all, there was plenty of time to chat with one another, laugh together, and enjoy the evening away from the daily grind of work. Without appointments, projects, or to-do lists, the focus that evening was on sharing the experience together.

Good teamwork doesn’t just happen in the workplace. That’s why shared activities and events are an important part of team life at OVUM. Whether it’s hiking, playing sports, or—as was the case this time—a trip back to the Middle Ages, experiences like these bring people from different departments together and create memories that people will still be talking about long afterward.

The Lord of the Castle Dinner at Kufstein Fortress was the perfect occasion for this. With good food, a lively atmosphere, and the occasional toast together, the celebration continued well into the evening.

In the end, we did return to the year 2025, but some memories of the evening will linger even longer. The castle lord’s dinner was a welcome break from the daily grind and, above all, an evening spent together filled with fun, good conversation, and a strong team.

Because even with all the technology and day-to-day work, there’s one thing that’s essential at OVUM: having a good time together.
