Munich
OVUM Heiztechnik brings efficient heat pump systems “Made in Austria” to Munich. Together with trained expert partners in the region, we implement modern heating solutions for new construction and renovation projects—for both single-family homes and apartment buildings.

Efficient Heat Pumps for Munich
OVUM Heiztechnik develops and manufactures efficient and innovative heat pump systems in Austria for new construction and renovation projects. In Munich and the surrounding area, builders, homeowners, and housing developers have access to well-designed system solutions for a variety of buildings and requirements—from single-family homes to multi-family buildings.
The portfolio includes air-source heat pumps from the AirCube series as well as the modular, stackable CUBIC Brine Heat Pump. The AirCube AC312P achieves a SCOP of 6.02 at a flow temperature of 35 °C, as determined in accordance with EN 14825 at the independent Heat Pump testing center in Buchs, Switzerland. OVUM positions itself as a system provider: the Heat Pump, CubeTank, MIRA Controller, and hydraulics are all coordinated as system components.
In the Munich region, sales are handled by trained expert partners—HVAC companies and specialized contractors—who professionally plan, install, commission, and maintain OVUM systems. This ensures that the individual system components are planned and implemented to meet the specific requirements of each project.
Efficient Heating Solutions for the Metropolitan Area
The Bavarian capital combines dense urban development, modern new-construction areas, and a large stock of buildings in need of renovation. OVUM offers various system solutions to meet these diverse requirements: The AirCube AC312P achieves a sound power level of 39.9 dB(A); the compact CubeTank combines multiple functions in a small footprint; and the modular CUBIC Brine Heat Pump offers additional options for a variety of buildings and performance requirements.
Photovoltaic systems can also be integrated into the OVUM system. Using the MIRA+ Controller, excess solar power can be specifically utilized to operate the Heat Pump. The watt-precise PV integration enables the available excess PV power to be used according to demand and can increase self-consumption of PV power.
Web-based remote maintenance, intuitive operation, and factory-prepared system components facilitate installation, Commissioning, and ongoing support. Together with trained expert partners in the Munich region, this results in coordinated heating solutions for new construction and renovation projects—ingeniously simple, simply ingenious.
The OVUM System
AirCube Air-Source Heat Pump
The highly efficient AirCube—the first air-source heat pump with a SCOP of 6.02—is ideal for new construction and renovation projects in Munich and operates reliably even at low outdoor temperatures.
Ultra-quiet operation
With a noise level of just 39.9 dB(A) thanks to the bionic owl-wing principle, the AirCube can be easily installed in densely built-up residential areas of Munich and close to property lines.
Geothermal Energy with CUBIC
The patented, stackable CUBIC Brine Heat Pump efficiently harnesses geothermal energy and can be flexibly scaled from 7 to 54 kW—ideal for new construction, retrofits, and larger properties in the Munich area.
Indoor installation without restrictions
Thanks to just 150 g of the natural refrigerant R290 per module, the CUBIC can be installed directly inside the building without any additional safety measures—perfect for Munich’s existing buildings where space is limited.
Solutions for Apartment Buildings
Through cascading, we deliver power up to 160 kW for residential and commercial real estate projects in Munich—scalable, low-maintenance, and future-proof.
CubeTank
The CubeTank combines nine functions in just 1 m² of floor space—including a hygienic fresh water system, a buffer tank, and intelligent PV management for maximum convenience.
Intelligent MIRA Control System
The smartphone-like MIRA+ Controller manages up to 8 heating circuits, uses a weather-based schedule to plan ahead, and can be conveniently operated from anywhere via cell phone, tablet, or PC.
PV Integration & Remote Maintenance
Through smart photovoltaic integration, we increase self-consumption, while comprehensive data logs and over-the-air updates enable convenient remote maintenance in Munich.
