An Ovum AC312P with a 500-liter CubeTank was installed in a single-family home in Pinneberg.
The installation was preceded by heating load calculations and system planning. The foundation for the outdoor unit, core drilling, the replacement of selected radiators, and hydraulic balancing ensure that the plant is tailored to the building.

How a cascade meets demand
An OVUM AC312P heat pump with a 500-liter Cube storage tank was installed in a single-family home in Pinneberg. The installation was based on a heating load calculation and the technical design of the entire system. As part of the conversion, selected radiators were replaced and a hydraulic balancing was performed to adapt the existing heating system to the heat pump. No information regarding the previously used heating system is available for this project.

Why Not Every Radiator Needs to Be Replaced
Not every existing heating system needs to be completely replaced when switching to a heat pump. In Pinneberg, specific radiators were replaced, and the rest were adjusted via hydraulic balancing to accommodate the heat pump’s lower flow temperatures. A heating load calculation performed in advance will determine whether and to what extent this is necessary in each individual case.
