OVUM Heat Pumps for Stuttgart and the Surrounding Area

OVUM develops and manufactures efficient heat pump systems in Austria to meet a variety of needs. Whether for new construction in the Stuttgart basin or retrofits of existing buildings in the surrounding neighborhoods, its product portfolio offers solutions for a wide range of buildings and applications.

Our product portfolio ranges from the AirCube series to the modular CUBIC ground-source heat pump. The AirCube AC312P achieves a SCOP of 6.02 at a flow temperature of 35 °C, as determined in accordance with EN 14825 at the independent heat pump testing center in Buchs, Switzerland. We do not see ourselves as simply a supplier of individual units, but rather as a provider of well-designed system solutions comprising heat pumps, storage tanks, controllers, and hydraulics.

Sales in Stuttgart are handled by trained authorized partners. This ensures that specialized companies are available right in the region for consultation, planning, installation, and maintenance. The system components, which are designed to work together seamlessly, support efficient and reliable system operation.

Sustainable Heating in the Greater Stuttgart Area—Even When Space Is Limited

Stuttgart, with its dense urban development and hilly basin, presents unique challenges for modern heating technology. OVUM offers heat pump systems designed for a variety of building types and installation scenarios. The AirCube AC312P achieves a sound power level of 39.9 dB(A). The specially developed Cube fins are modeled after the geometry of an owl’s wings and contribute to the acoustic optimization of the outdoor unit.

OVUM heat pumps use the natural refrigerant propane (R290), which has a low global warming potential (GWP). When combined with the PV integration feature of the MIRA controller, self-generated solar power can be specifically used to operate the heat pump system. This increases self-consumption of PV power and reduces the amount of grid power drawn for heat pump operation.

From consultation and professional installation to web-based remote maintenance, trained experts are available to serve customers in the Stuttgart area. This allows for planning and implementation to be tailored to the specific requirements of each building.

The OVUM System

AirCube Air-Source Heat Pump

This efficient air-source heat pump, with a SCOP of up to 6.02, harnesses environmental heat from the outside air—for heating, cooling, and hot water in new construction and renovation projects in Stuttgart.

Cubic Brine Heat Pump

The first stackable geothermal heat pump efficiently harnesses geothermal energy and, thanks to modular stacking, delivers up to 54 kW—ideal for demanding projects in the region.

Renovation of Existing Buildings

Proven efficiency even in older buildings: OVUM heat pumps operate at low flow temperatures and reliably replace old oil or gas heating systems in existing buildings in Stuttgart.

Cube System Storage

The smart energy center combines nine functions in just 1 m² of floor space—featuring a hygienic fresh water system and a buffer tank, fully installed at the factory and ready to plug in.

Housing Projects & Cascade

For apartment buildings and commercial projects in the greater Stuttgart area, cascadable systems provide scalable power up to 160 kW—in a space-saving and cost-effective way.

MIRA Controller

The digital brain proactively controls the heat pump using a weather schedule and PV optimization—and it’s as intuitive to use as a smartphone, whether via cell phone, tablet, or PC.

PV Integration

Self-generated solar power is measured down to the watt and used continuously for heating, hot water, or cooling—ensuring high self-consumption and low operating costs in Stuttgart.

Service & Remote Maintenance

Over-the-air updates, comprehensive data logs, and plug-and-play remote maintenance ensure the reliable operation of OVUM systems for customers in Stuttgart and the surrounding area.
